We have over 30 practice areas. The main practice groups are: Commercial Litigation; Specialty Litigation; Labour, Employment and Human Rights; Corporate/Commercial; Natural Resources; Real Estate; Securities and Technology; and Estates.

Does your firm offer a rotation? If so, what does it look like for summer students and articling students?

Articled students complete 3 rotations (litigation, business and labour, employment & human rights) and a 4th junioring rotation in an area of their choosing. Summer students do not have formal rotation, but move offices during the summer to experience a variety of practice areas

What is one piece of advice you would give a law student about choosing a practice area?

Do some informational interviewing with junior lawyers to get a sense of what the day to day benefits and challenges of different areas of law are.
